Candlelit Christmas Eve Services of Lessons and Carols

Christmas eveCandlelit Christmas eve services of lessons and carols will be held at 4pm and 11pm featuring the choir at 4pm and Timothy Deer at 11pm playing the piano , and a duet by Rev. Cheryl Meachen and her daughter Christina Catino at both.

Candy Cane

CandycaneWorship this Sunday, December 21st at 10 am will include scripture from Luke 1:26-38, read by Leslie Kramsky, telling the story of the angel’s visit to Mary foretelling Jesus’ birth. Rev. Cheryl Meachen will tell the story of the meaning of the Candy Cane, describing how the colors and shape speak of Jesus. Holy Communion will be celebrated to which all are welcome. The Lahue/Ericson family will light the Advent candle. The choir, directed by Jenny Hinton will sing, “Cradle of Love.” Kevin Mills will play the organ. Chrismons

chrismon treeWorship this Sunday, December 14th at 10 am will include scripture from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24, read by Ron Francis, lifting the theme of the third Sunday in Advent, Joy! Kevin Mills will play the organ. Rev. Cheryl Meachen will lead a liturgy describing the meaning of the Chrismons, Christian symbols as tree ornaments which the congregation will hang during the service. Holy Communion will be celebrated to which all are welcome, regardless of church affiliation. The choir, directed by Jenny Hinton will sing, “Is Your Heart Prepared?” The church is located at 18 Town Crier Drive off Putney Road and is handicap-accessible. St. Nicholas Day
