Worship this Sunday, November 24th at 10 am will include the reading of Jesus telling the disciples, “I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty” in response to their questions about the loaves and fishes and the manna and quail. This scripture is found in John 6:25-35 and will be read by Jane Clarke. Rev. Cheryl Meachen’s sermon, entitled, “Our Life’s Work” will explore Jesus’ admonition that the work of God is that we believe in him. This service will celebrate our thanksgiving for Jesus in our lives and will include Holy Communion. The choir will sing “Let Us Give Our Thanks Together.” Saturday is our annual United Methodist Women’s Christmas bazaar from 9-1 where you can purchase beautiful crafts and delicious baked goods. All proceeds are passed through to missions and charities. You are also welcome to join us for Thanksgiving services on Wednesday at 10:30am at Thompson House or 6pm at the parsonage. The church is located at 18 Town Crier Drive off Putney Road and is handicap-accessible. All are welcome!
